I'm reading Fearless by Tim Lott. It's one of the books on the long list for the Tower Hamlets Book Award, and it's a story about a school where the pupils are kept prisoner and forced to work in the city's laundry. One of the girls is trying to escape, but will she succeed?

I've just read The Robe of Skulls also on the Tower Hamlets Book Award list. It's an enjoyable mix of humour, fairytale and quest with some quite exciting moments and a range of good characters: Marlon the Disneylike bat and Foyce the stepsister (daughter of a werewolf)who looks fantastic but isreally evil! There's a touch of Harry Potter about Marcus too.

As usual I'm either reading - or have just read - about 7 or 8 different books. I've just finished 'Bloodtide' by Melvin Burgess which I found to be a bit of a cross between 'Romeo&Juliet' and 'Noughts&Crosses'. As I met Melvin Burgess in school this week it was particularly apt. I've also just finished re-reading David Edding's fantastic 'Mallorean' quintet (5 books). I first read them when I was about 12 and they're just as good now - lots of adventure and magic. I've also been reading a non-fiction book called 'Sport & Nationalism in Ireland' for a university course that I'm studying. It's a bit like a history book. I'm also reading lots of sports magazines such as 'When Saturday Comes' (football) and the 'Wisden Cricketer' (guess!). People always ask how I'm able to read so much when I'm so busy - I always say you can find time...10 minutes on the bus here, 20 minutes waiting for the tube there...

I've just finished reading 'Sleeping Beauty'by Margaret Mayo.I liked it because it was an interesting story. it's about this beautiful princess who falls asleep for a hundred years because a wicked fairy spell made that when a prince comes and kisses her she's going to get up. After they get married.

The book i have been reading recently is Horrid henry. It is realy interesitng because its all about gettng revenge and it also gves tips on what to do if something goes wrong.e.g like if you dont like your dinner lady you can find some way of getting rid of her. If you like getting revenge i recommend this book to you.

Operation Timewarp is a story about 3 kids who have been called by a professor that envolves them going into a machine which sends them into the future to go and protect a dimension in the year 3000 where UFO's and aliens are striking.
The three kids go on an adventure with gear and materials to use to fight the evil mutants and aliens with action and it is full of suprises and excitement and is an ideal book for adventure fans it is a fiction book.
'Dragon Ball' by Akira Toriyama is a story about Goku that has to fight of evil.
The genre of the story is adventre. I like the character Goku because he is really funny and he has cool abilities like flying, fireballs and he can turn into a giant monkey.
I rally enjoyed this book because it is funny. I also like the story because there is a funny villain called Pilaf and he makes me laugh.
Goku has to defeat all the enemies that get in his way , so it's serious as well sometimes.
The end will leave you laughing

'The Sleep Over Club'by Jaqueline Willson is a story about 5 friends who are best of friends who have many twists in the friendship but at the end they will always be friends no matter what they have to go through.I will recommend this book to everyone but especially if you have friends, so if there's any twists you will figure out a way somehow to solve it.

i red the book Stone Heart by Charlie Fletcher. it is abit boring at the beginning of the book, but then the book get exciting towards the end.

My favourite book was monster blood this year and this is what happened - this is a monster in a tin which evan bought from a old shop that was going to close. when he opened it, it grew bigger and bigger until it ate some things. it was all a spell.

My favourite book that i read this year so far is called 'Unbelievable'.
Why did i like it?
Because ' Unbelivable'is a funny book and i like funny books.
The story was a funny, scary and an emotional story with different scenes on different characters
My favourite book is Sol Campbell.I like it because it showed how he became a footballer and how he was brought up.
